Step 1: Enter Two Names
Start with the names of the two people you want to compare. Spaces and punctuation are normally ignored during the calculation.
Step 2: Compare the Letters
The letters appearing in both names are matched. Matching occurrences are removed from both names. The letters left over are then counted.
Step 3: Count the Remaining Letters
Suppose the combined number of unmatched letters is seven. The number seven is then used in the next stage of the FLAMES calculation.
Step 4: Eliminate FLAMES Letters
The letters F, L, A, M, E and S are arranged in a circle. Starting from the beginning, the remaining number is counted and the selected letter is removed. The process continues until only one letter remains.

Step 5: Get the Result
The final remaining letter represents the result according to the traditional FLAMES game.
The calculation is a traditional entertainment game and should not be considered a scientific relationship test.
